How it all started?
St. Xavier's School in Uttar Panialguri, under the ownership and management of the Jesuits (Darjeeling province), is a co-educational English Medium school, overseen by the Jesuits of the Darjeeling Province. Located 9 km from Alipurduar town, the school began with just five students in temporary classrooms, blessed by the Bishop of Jalpaiguri in March 2011. Over the years, it grew significantly, now accommodating 900 students. The school's mission is to provide integral education, focusing on academic excellence, spiritual growth, social responsibility, and values-based leadership. It aims to mold students into individuals of integrity, faith, commitment to justice, academic excellence, and a strong sense of service.

St. Xavier's school is located in a serene area about nine kilometers from Alipurduar town along the left side of National Highway (NH -C31) towards Assam. The school is situated at the edge of Damanpur Tea Garden . It has an area of about 33 bigas. The school has lush green field infront and most of the activities are conducted. The climate is calm and quite, perfect for a educational institution.
